| [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 380px; height: 400px; background-image: url(http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/7484/godricbb.png); -moz-border-radius: 250px; border-radius: 30px 30px 30px 30px; border: 0px solid #414141;] godric, gryffindor, seven, knabstrupper, owned by lottie godric is a big boy. standing at eighteen hands he's reminiscent of a mammoth. a purebred knabstrupper with colourful leopard spotting he's an eye catcher in the show ring. not that he really gets out much. along with his large size he's got a massive stride. but with great size comes a bit of...well goofiness. he's a little sluggish in his behaviour. often not being quick enough to a fence or doesn't tuck his knees up high enough and catches a rail. however when you've really got your leg on him he'll soar up into the skies. but those times are few and far between. he's still in training as far as his quietness goes. he's been tested in the hunter ring. and while he's got the stride, the jump, and the heart he gets judged badly because he's often thought to be appaloosa. while his slow skill set is probably best for that ring, lottie who owns him doesn't really like the hunter ring. it's far too boring. thanks to lottie's iron leg and aggressive riding skills they make a pretty good pair in the child/adult jumpers. godric is still young and has his little youngin' fits, but he tries. and that's all that matters. mikey is a lady killer?! of caution 2.0 |
