[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 380px; height: 400px; background-image: url(http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/6538/josie.png); -moz-border-radius: 250px; border-radius: 30px 30px 30px 30px; border: 0px solid #414141;] josie, josephine, twelve, hanoverian, owned by lottie josephine, or josie, is certainly a horse of a different colour. she's a gorgeous bay, but with white brindling. her colour definitely gets her noticed in the show ring. josie was bred by a farm in eastern europe and imported to the states as a two year old. it was there she received extensive training to be a junior hunter. that was until they saw how big she could jump. when free jumping her she started clearing the standards with her knees tucked up to her eyeballs. and that's when grand prix was obviously in her future. she was shipped to another barn where she was finished off. from eight until eleven she competed in grand prixs across the country. fetching a pretty penny in prize money and getting admiration from all that experienced her. with power and skill this mare captures hearts. josie does have her down falls. she is incredibly marish on the ground. she nips and squeals and has all sorts of temper issues. but once that bit is in her mouth and you're on she's nothing short of talented. she needs to be revved up a bit because she has that classic hunter canter and daisy cutter trot. but boy can this mare jump. you say jump, she says how high. after having a little trouble with people thinking lottie wasn't a talented rider because she was getting bucked around by ori, lottie's parents purchased this mare and had her sent over to the school. lottie is still figuring her out and is currently showing her in the junior hunters until she is comfortable enough to move up to the child/adult jumpers with the mare. and hopefully once she's graduated the mare will be her debut into the grand prix ring. mikey is a lady killer?! of caution 2.0 |
