[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 380px; height: 400px; background-image: url(http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/1904/ori3.png); -moz-border-radius: 250px; border-radius: 30px 30px 30px 30px; border: 0px solid #414141;] ori, memories, ten, oldenburg, owned by lottie memories was always a big horse. they didn't think his mother was going to be able to pass him through the birth canal. but somehow she managed. this fiery chestnut began professional training from day one. his first few years he was pleasant. came up to people in the field, nickered, begged for treats, nuzzled. everything a cute young horse is supposed to do. but then something changed. when he was four he was beginning to be trained over fences. it was light a switch was flipped. he started throwing tantrums, refusing to move forward, bucking. and often times tossing his riders into things. jumps, walls, over fences. just about everything. he was a nut. he continued his training. and at seven years old he was competing in the four foot jumper divisions with an old pro. the only guy that could ride him. he had to manhandle him around the whole course. and even then he didn't always get around. he crashed through jumps, bucked, even reared sometimes. he was a train wreck. and that's when lottie saw him. she was showing her junior hunter, captain, at the time. captain was so easy. auto lead change, super adjustable stride. just a perfect little angel. lottie was mesmerized as she watched ori buck across the ring, this rider hanging on for his life. she wanted him. as a stallion she wouldn't be able to show him. her parents paid ori's owners and the stallion came home to victorian ridge. before gelding him they bred two of their top mares to him. so out there, are two now four years olds. as well as two six year olds that were born after he jumped a fence into a mare's field when he was two. he was gelded shortly after and her family paid every expense there was to have this great horse trained. at ten he was deemed safe enough for a child to ride. but that doesn't stop him from bucking, rearing, and throwing tantrums out of nowhere. mikey is a lady killer?! of caution 2.0 |
