[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; background-color: #343434; padding:20px; border-top: 10px #af9390 solid; border-bottom: 10px #af9390 solid;] * michelle carrie lontas , shelly female 18 straight senioradvanced hello; my name is michelle lontas, but you can call me shelly. i'm 18 years old and a lovely senior here at WORA. i'm straight and currently single, but i'm perfectly okay with being a single lady, i'm in no rush to find me a man and get married. i'm a pretty nonchalant kind of girl, but i go for the things i want in life. i don't take no for an answer, and i am terrible at first impressions. i have a terrible habit of twirling my hair when i get nervous around a guy, and i'll constantly play with my hands if i'm nervous in general. i don't like to burn the crap out of my hair or wear tons of make-up, but i'll have the occasional day where i feel like being pretty. i am a complete horse enthusiast, and i have been since i was very young. i grew up near malibu in a pretty little house by the beach. i have an older sister; who i look up to for everything, and a younger brother; who i would risk my entire life for. i'm closer to my mother since i have been a momma's girl since before i could walk or talk. my dad was never really around, due to the fact that he was constantly away on "business" and was working 24/7. my mother raised me and two other kids by herself, and let me tell you it wasn't the easiest thing to watch. but enough about my sob story, let's get to the interesting things. growing up near the beach, i learned how to surf through my sister, and she is also the one who introduced me into the world of horses. the first time i ever saw a horse, i thought they were beautiful animals. i wasn't scared of them, or their size. i just wanted to touch their soft noses, and feel the thrill of having such a powerful animal underneath you. she had taken me to a highly prestigious stable, a stable that her best friend at the time had rode at and competed for. i remember the significant smell and all the new people and faces. i was very young at the time, perhaps 6 or 7? i watched her friend train for a competition on her big, beautiful, bay gelding named Aspen; oh my, was he a looker! when i watched her jump, i had known that deep down inside that was what i was going to do for the rest of my life. therefore, i embraced it and went for my dream. when i got home that night, i excitedly told my mom all about the trip to the stables and how much i wanted to do what her friend had done. all my mom did was smile and told me, "go for your dreams baby, and never let anyone get in your way." on my 8th birthday, she surprised me with a brand new helmet and english riding clothes - i knew instantly what that meant. that day i rode my very first horse, and haven't stopped since. it's a thrill, it encourages me to do good in school and especially to be more cautious of anything around me. being around horses has taught me a lot about myself and about life. i know, how cliche does that sound? ever since my 8th birthday, they have changed my life around. they have practically made me the person i am today, and i wouldn't go back on it for anything. here i am now, a senior at white oak riding academy, on the way to achieving my dream of being in the grand prix and being known for my jumping. hi! my name is aly, and i've been on earth for 16 years! out of 4 years, i've been roleplaying! now, my other characters are -----. i live in the pacific and you can reach me by pm. |
