Well, I figured this thread needed to be made sooner rather than later, and I like sooner better :)
I just wanted to share some pictures of the horses at the barn I go too on Mondays. I am so busy at my main barn that I have yet to take any pictures of those horses x.x
Me on Belle. YES, I DO RIDE IN JEANS AND MY GLASSES /shot Anywho. Belle is a lovely PerchxTB cross mare that my instructor bought as a resale project and will probably end up keeping for herself since they get along so well XD I don't ride her because we have personality issues. Or rather, she knows that I can't make her do what I want her to do. This is kinda an old picture.
Tired Belle <3
Whitmannnnn This is an imported Hanoverian gelding named Whitman AKA Whit AKA The Hippohorse. My Monday barn had him for a year before my instructor got pregnant and sold him. He was the sweetest horse EVER. He was bred and trained in Germany, got certified as a breeding stallion, and was then gelded and sold to someone here in the US. He was ridden for two or three years and then left in a field for about 7 or 8 years before my instructor got him.
Whit, posing for the camera
Cookie The little POA pony thing who was used for beginner lessons until he realized bucking would get him out of work XD Anyone who can do anything about it is too big to ride him.
Dollface Actually shes just Dolly. Or, if you wanna be techinicaly, Sheza Golden Doll. AQHA mare, Pony Clubbed for years by my instructor's sister and now used for the occasional beginner lesson or trail ride. The only horse I trust to go out on the trails alone.
OH. AND JUST FOR FUN. ME ON A MULE :D I loved this boy. The guy who owns him is a natural horsemanship trainer and this is his personal mule, so he was SUPER well trained. I just walked and jogged him around a bit and then went through this huge obstacle course. I was more scared than the mule was!
AND NOW I WANNA SEE YOUR PONIES! Or other pets, if you don't have horses/ride. I have other pets too, I'm just to lazy to post those pictures xD

I LIKE THIS THREAD. Hm, I think I'll post some of my older ponies too. Well, they weren't 'mine' but I was the only one that ever rode them. let's go all the way back. This was my first show. I was six, and riding this lovely Chincoteague pony who I loved to death. We ended up getting two second places in our three classes. And a few weeks ago I actually found clips of this show, and it turns out its a 'B' rated show. That's pretty big for a first show xD. aanndd a POA.Around 7 years old? I dunno, but Jr. was a spectacular hunter pony. Like, amazing. And there were a few other ponies that I rode for awhile, but no good pictures, so off to my horse, which will have enough pictures for all of them. She's a bay OTTB who stands at 16.1hh. Never bred, and raced three times I believe. She sucked, but by the way she rushes fences sometimes I don't understand. Emma is a hunter horse, I do low hunters with her, and will probably use up her first green year this show season, since cantering over two foot fences is starting to get a little boring. And quick. Anyways~ Her show name is Daddy's Emmpty Pockets, which I actually came up with myself. Summer schooling shows in short stirrup! It's been so long.First Rated Show With Her, State Finals. Yes, I'm in paddock boots and garters, lol, Oh, and bows. I made those bows myself, so don't anyone criticize them.Because I'm cool and jump 2'9" oxers like they're 3'6'.Cross Country. like a bossTacky? Wha?Because this is how we do it.Hot Pink is so our color.-stops picture explosion before i cause boredom-

The happiness it brings me that I'm not the only kid who rides in glasses is unfathomable XD
Of course, you were tiny and I'm 17 but, you know. I'm just too lazy to wear to my contacts.
OMG. PONY. CUTENESS. GAH. This makes me want to scan some of my ancient pictures onto my computer. I have some baby ones that are so cute <3 I look so dumb though xD
Aaaand your horse is adorbs. So adorbs. I am jealous. I'm trying to find something cheap to be projecty with, but I'm off to real college in two years and probably won't be able to take a horse with me so I'm still on the fence about it.

Haha yeah, I don't wear them when I shows anymore, and recently they've been falling off my face jumping anything over three feet which is a pain, so when I start jumping I shove them in a pocket, haha.

I had to have mine shaped so they're more curved behind the ears because they kept falling off xD

lawrd. both times she ate the jump she was like 'Cantering, cantering, cantering, canteri- OH RIGHT. I WAS SUPPOSED TO JUMP LAST STRIDE.' And no, none of its sped up, she was really quick on the matching neon day. Like scary.

Awww! It says 'this video is private'. The pony I rode today was the opposite of that XD He was like "trot...trot...trot...trot...jump?" me; 'kickkickick' Bear; "Oh. trot...trot...trot...glomp"

2 years next week. We've gotten much much much better. This time last year I was ready to sell her, she was too quick, but we got through, and now we're great together again.

oooh, it's that time of year again! Time to make fun of Ayla's stupid equitation! YES! From the beginning of when I have pictures: Prayer - dopey Quarter Horse who was the first horse I actually showed seriously. He was dead quiet and is one of the few horses I never fell off of. I was like, 10 when this was taken. I won that class, I think; it was equitation, 13 and under. Kaz - Purebred Arab, spooky as hell when this was taken. He was the first horse I ever showed class A, in hunter pleasure and equitation. Queen - Half Arab, half Saddlebred. She's a great horse! I still ride her to keep her in shape, but her current owners want to do eventing with her (I have no idea why - she can't keep herself clear of jumps to save her life) but the little girl isn't strong enough to ride her like she needs to be ridden. I *never* ride in anything but jeans. Peanut - Purebred Arab who's too smart for his own good. I helped to sell him, and now he's a 4-H horse. Apparently he's good at barrels. He gave me more scars than any other horse, although not the most serious injury. Sophie! - Half Arabian (more like 99%, actually) half Paint. She's three and a half and is the first horse I've ever owned myself. Her registered name is TA Beat To Quarters, which I got to pick out myself. She's for sale, but I plan on showing her in the spring and summer, as long as she doesn't sell.

Oooh, I'm going to share my horsies with all of you!
Hershey's Almond Joy aka "Honey" - This is my baby. AQHA registered, purebred Quarter Horse. She is 6 years old, and is my very first horse! For the past 2 years, we have developed what some would like to say a "bond," and others would say it's just a extremely strong relationship. My mare is a pain in the behind, and came to us pretty much not broke. She had been accustomed to a saddle and a bit, but she knew nothing about leg cues, or how to be soft on her mouth, or how to neck rein, not even her manners. She had just been bomb proofed to just about everything, which was a definite positive. I have taught her a lot, and she's taught me a lot, we've grown together the past couple of years. I've recently started working on barrel racing with her and will do my first cow sorting with her this weekend or next weekend! I have many more pictures of her, but I don't feel like splurging tens of thousands of them on this board teehee.
Sunbathing with the Honey bear She tired Just because she's a dork
Rhombus aka "Rambo" - Now this boy here is Rambo. I barrel race, and jump occasionally on him. He's a little boy, I think 14.2? But don't underestimate his size, he's a complete JERK. Lol, not all the time, but he can be, especially after running barrels! He likes to rub his head on your butt, especially if your pockets have jewels on them. He's 24 years old, and still faster than all the other horses at the ranch. I've won 6 ribbons on him, and he's good if you're looking for an adrenaline rush because he will definitely give you one!
There are 3 more horses, but I recently got a new phone and am trying to acquire the pictures that were on my old phone. Pictures of them will be up very soon!
