cheers, shut up and smile, 9, mare, oldenburg, owned by tobin kelly
Cheers is lazy, to put it bluntly. She needs constant leg pressure to keep her going, all the time. It's incredibly annoying, but its better than having to whoa all the way around the ring.
Cheers is a very light grey with no visible markings. She was chestnut before fading. She's extremely gorgeous, but a pain in the arse to keep clean.
Tobin got Cheers after riding her at Upperville in 2009 in both the Children's Eq and Children's Hunter classes and sweeping both. The owners got many offers on the mare, but sold her to Tobin since they already knew they were a good match. Since then she's shown extremely competitively, and if you know Tobin Kelly then you know Shut Up and Smile. Maybe not Kelso, or Brody, but definitely Cheers.
