andy, altitude, thirteen, hannoverian, owned by anthony hughes
This cute dark bay goes by the name Andy. He is a thirteen year old Hanoverian gelding who just so happens to be Anthony’s equitation horse.
Altitude has a dark bay coat, which is kept clean and shines in good health. He has two white leg markings, which can be seen on both of his front legs. Andy stands at 16.2 hands high at the withers, not too big and not too small; a nice height for his rider. On the ground, Andy is very calm and easy to handle kind of horse. However, he isn’t too keen on being bathed. In the saddle, this horse is rather level-headed, but like all horses, he can have his moments. Andy has nice gaits; however he’s a little bit slow. He’s the horse who needs a little more extra leg to move faster. He is rather brave, but tends to be quite unsure around water jumps.
The Hughes have owned Andy for four years now, and well Anthony couldn’t be happier.
